First of all I welcome a4u &amp; Matthew to India. </p> <p>Indian affiliate industry is currently in a nascent stage, still merchants needs a lot of convincing to opt for this channel as their sales medium. Inspite of this being the most measurable &amp; performance based marketing &amp; sales channel. </p> <p>Currently bigger affiliates are facing the challenge of Data feeds, not very many merchants are offering data feeds &amp; the few who are offering have problems like : Wrong URL, missing descriptions etc. Affiliate Networks in India need to work towards this to make it easier for affiliates to showcase maximum products of merchants.</p> <p>Second issue is Sales Status. Currently it takes lot of time in updating sales status, missing info on what product got sold, sales getting declined without proper information. This process needs a lot of transparency both from the Network &amp; Merchant end to build the confidence of affiliates. </p> <p>We all have to work together to increase the market size of Affiliate Marketing in India. Was the top bosses DGM-India was not able to convince the benefits of Affiliate Marketing to them?
